Initially, we intended to hire a local contractor, but we're
really glad that we decided instead to use Ballast Nedam.
They gave a competitive bid and remained within budget,
accurately indicating how it would be impacted when we requested
those inevitable changes. Our site superintendent was very
responsive, keeping us updated on progress with phone calls,
e-mails, and digital photos. He also made some great suggestions
which, although they represented small changes to the design,
represented big improvements in the finished product. Never
having built a home before, we were expecting a lot of stress,
so we were pleasantly surprised that the process was relatively
hassle-free and went much smoother than we ever imagined.

wife and I would like to thank you, your crew and sub-contractors
for completing our house. Living a thousand miles from Golden
and finding it necessary to change contractors was a very
difficult situation. We were fortunate that Ballast Nedam
was available to finish our project.
We
were pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the
professionalism in the management of the contract. The budget
numbers you provided were extremely close to the actual
costs and tasks were completed in a timely manner.

With being an owner of Whispering Pines the first new accommodations
on the Mountain, we purchased sight un seen. The final product
which you and your company delivered has meet all of our
expectations. Your response to questions and service has
been very appreciative. With owning a property out of town
we had concerns about the timely service we could expect,
fortunately with your main office being on the mountain
your service has been impeccable to say the least. The skilled
trades that are part of your team have been very professional
and respectful of our personal affects.
When
we had purchased our lot in Cache Estates we had no doubt
in using Ballast Nedam again. We find it a pleasure working
with you, your contact and up-to-date pictures etc. of our
new home have been much appreciated as we do live in Michigan
and find it hard to see the progress otherwise. The budgets
and cost controls that you have implemented are right on
track.

Whispering Pines
Rene and I would like to thank Ballast Nedam Canada Limited
and yourself for the work and diligence you have demonstrated
in completing our unit and the Whispering Pines strata development.
Our unit was delivered very close to on schedule prior to
the 2001/02 ski season. We have been very pleased with your
attitude to insure that our unit has been completed to our
satisfaction.
I
would point out that as we were one of the first to purchase
a unit, sight unseen prior to road plans, completed drawings
and architectural details we are pleased with the final
product.

would not hesitate to recommend you for any future projects

We are now at the late framing stage at our site, and we
would like to take this opportunity to thank Ballast Nedam,
and particularly Herb Meiner for the great job they are
doing. Whenever we have been on the site we have been impressed

date.
